Tom Kelley  

Tom Kelley, P.E.

With over 30 years at Gage Brothers, Tom Kelley has been the President of the company since 2001. Tom has been instrumental in the companys evolution through ongoing strategic planning, sales strategy, and product research in order to provide Gage Brothers clients the highest quality product solutions available. An active member of AltusGroup and PCI, Tom has established relationships throughout the precast concrete and construction industries. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and has been a licensed Professional Engineer in South Dakota since 1985.

Tom is the Immediate Past Chair of PCI National and an active member of PCI Midwest, Sioux Falls Rotary Club, and Sioux Falls Chamber of Appeals Committee Member. He also serves on several boards including AltusGroup, Risk Administration Services, Lutheran Outdoors, and Southeast Technical Institute Foundation.

David Honner  

David Honner

David Honner joined Gage Brothers in 1998 as a Controller after eight years with a local Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firm. In 2006, David was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and in 2012 was promoted to Vice President of Finance. He is responsible for all financial and accounting activities, including serving as the Trustee for the Gage Brothers Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). David has his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Mount Marty College, with a minor in Computer Science. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1992.

David volunteers as a Board Member and Treasurer for Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), and serves as a Board Member for the Sioux Falls Snowfox Swim Team and the Sioux Falls Aquatic Association.

Joe Bunkers  

Joe Bunkers

Joe Bunkers is the Vice President of Preconstruction and works closely with our customers throughout the preconstruction process. He has experience in drafting, quality control, precast concrete sales, project management, and customer service. From finding the right concrete texture and color for a customer to onsite services, Joe works diligently to ensure our customers expectations are exceeded. To ensure quality for Gage Brothers customers, Joe has achieved Quality Control Personnel Certification Level III from the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI).

A graduate of Leadership PCI, Joe is an active member of the Leadership PCI Committee and PCIs Architectural Services Committee. Joe also volunteers as a Girl Scout Troop leader for his daughters troop.

Chuck Smith  

Chuck Smith

Chuck Smith is the Vice President of Operations at Gage Brothers and is responsible for the engineering, operations, and quality departments. Prior to joining the Gage Brothers team six years ago, Chuck had almost two decades of experience in engineering, project management and purchasing/logistics for automotive component suppliers. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University.

Chuck has served as a City Commissioner for Canton, South Dakota since May 2011 and has served as Mayor of Canton since May 2012. He coaches SD junior football and little league baseball.

David Parrot  

David Parrott

David Parrott is the Controller for Gage Brothers and is responsible for the daily financial activities. With over 20 years of experience, David was at one point the Controller for the largest Class 2 railroad in the country and also has experience as at a regional Certified Public Accounting firm in Iowa. David has his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Iowa and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1984.


Cassie Nicolai  

Cassandra Nicolai

Cassandra Nicolai started at Gage Brothers in 2010 as an intern with Human Resources. During her internship, she quickly realized her passion for the industry and joined Gage Brothers full time as a Human Resources Generalist. In 2014, Cassandra was promoted to Human Resources Manager and now oversees the Human Resources department and staff. Cassandra's responsibilities include recruiting and hiring, employee development, employee recognition, and the employee wellness program.

Cassandra has her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of South Dakota. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) chapters, including both the local Sioux Empire chapter and the national chapter. Cassandra is also a member of the Augustana College Community Band.



jim Miller  

Jim Miller

With almost 40 years of experience at Gage Brothers, Jim Miller has been the Plant Manager since 2006. Jim started as a laborer and proved to be a company asset as he acquired new roles and responsibilities over the years. His experience guides his management of the production schedules and all of the manpower within the plant. While continuing to make safety a top priority, Jim also works closely with quality control to ensure standards are being met.

Don Hall  

Don Hall

Don Hall joined Gage Brothers in 2009 as Quality Assurance Manager and is responsible for ensuring a high level of compliance with Gage Brothers Quality Assurance Program and PCI certifications. Over the past thirty-five years, Don has been involved in various aspects of the precast and prestressed concrete, ranging from plant ownership, general management, production and operations management, research and development, sales, design, engineering and quality assurance. Throughout his career, Don has regularly contributed to various industry related organizations and committees to further the improvement and development of new and improved techniques and concrete products.

Bobby Doyle  

B. Bobby Doyle

Bobby Doyle is the Safety Manager at Gage Brothers. He joined Gage Brothers in 2011 and oversees safety education and compliance. His responsibilities include equipment training, safety orientation for new employees, OSHA regulations and reporting, and work compensation claims management. He is OSHA 30-hour General Industry Trained and has over seven years of safety experience.

Bobby participates in the National MS Society's annual Bike MS, fundraising for the Sioux Empire United Way, and coaches Little League.

Eric Kurtz

Eric Kurtz was in the steel industry before coming to Gage Brothers over 23 years ago. Throughout his time at Gage Brothers, he has held many different roles and is now a Preconstruction Manager. As an engineer with extensive preconstruction and project management experience, Eric is able to visualize and assist clients throughout their projects, while providing clients innovative solutions and cost saving options.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University and has been a licensed Professional Engineer since 1991. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wyoming.

Eric is an active member of AltusGroups Marketing Committee and is a recreational soccer coach in Sioux Falls.

Robb A. Walrath Jr. has over a decade of experience with Gage Brothers providing preconstruction services to clients throughout the Upper Midwest.  Robb is a Preconstruction Manager and offices in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, where he works closely with the construction industry to provide architectural precast solutions. From providing preliminary project budgets, to design assistance for both architectural and engineering firms, Robb nurtures and creates ongoing, long-term relationships resulting in award-winning architectural precast structures. He has an Architectural Engineering Associate in Applied Science Degree from St. Paul College.

Robb is an active member of PCI, an active member of the Minnesota Builders Exchange and is a former Director of the Board for the St. Paul Builders Exchange.  Robb also volunteers as a softball coach, volleyball coach, and is the President of the Booster Club at Flips Gymnastics.

Ann Hill

Ann Hill joined Gage Brothers as a Drafter before being promoted to preconstruction as a Project Estimator.  In addition to estimating projects with the preconstruction team, Ann oversees residential hollow core (corefloor) sales and hollow core project management. Ann has over 14 years of experience in the construction and manufacturing industries, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from Wayne State College.

Ann is an active member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), and the South Dakota Chapter of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

Elizabeth H. Burns (Colbert) is the Marketing Manager at Gage Brothers and is responsible for the company's marketing and public relations. She has experience in strategic marketing, public relations, budget management, event planning, social media integration, and creative services. Elizabeth has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration Marketing and Management from Northwestern College.

Elizabeth is an active member of the AltusGroup Marketing Committee, the PCI Marketing Awareness Committee, the PCI Market Research and Metrics Committee, the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce's Young Professional Network, and serves on the Marketing Committee for Downtown Sioux Falls.

Joel Bass is a Project Manager at Gage Brothers and is responsible for monitoring and overseeing projects from start to finish. Prior to joining the team at Gage Brothers, Joel managed projects, estimating, and sales with previous employers in the construction industry. With over five years of project management experience, Joel is able to cultivate trustworthy and productive relationships with the clients of Gage Brothers. Joel has his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from South Dakota State University.

Adam Struck joined Gage Brothers in 2012 as a Project Manager.  Prior to joining Gage Brothers, Adam was closely involved in the estimating, sales, and project management for a national construction company. He understands a customers needs and is willing to put in the extra time to ensure client satisfaction. Adam has his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a minor in Business from South Dakota State University.

Collin Moriarty

Collin Moriarty joined Gage Brothers in 1996 as a Structural Engineer and was promoted in 2006 to the Engineering Manager. He is closely involved in all engineering processes, assigns Engineering duties to the Engineer department, and reviews structural calculations performed by other Engineers for Code Conformance. Prior to joining Gage Brothers, Collin was a Bridge Design Engineer for five years with the South Dakota Department of Transportation. Collin holds his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Minnesota and has been a licensed Professional Engineer since 1996. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in South Dakota, Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, Colorado, and Montana.

Collin is an active member of the AltusGroup Technical Committee and is a South Dakota Youth Symphony board member.

Edith Smith

Edith Smith is a Senior Engineer at Gage Brothers. With over 16 years of precast/prestressed concrete experience, Edith brings a wide repertoire of product and technical knowledge to the Engineering department. Her experience includes engineering cladding, parking structures, data centers, stadiums, and detailing in high seismic areas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Structural Design and Construction Engineering Technology and an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Penn State Harrisburg. Edith is a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado, Georgia, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, and North Carolina.

Edith is an active member of ACI National and PCI, including PCI's Parking Structure, Seismic, and Connections Committees. She also volunteers with her local Girl Scouts chapter.

Adam Roark

Adam Roark is a Senior Engineer at Gage Brothers and works with clients throughout the precast process. Adam has served as the engineer and project manager for over 80 jobs with Gage Brothers in seven different states, ranging from large jobs like the water treatment plant for the Lewis and Clark Regional Water System to smaller trim jobs for a local church. He holds his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Science in Engineering with an emphasis in Structures from South Dakota State University.

Adam has been a licensed Professional Engineer in South Dakota since the fall of 2011.

Rachel Swain

Rachel Swain has over 15 years of experience at Gage Brothers and is currently an Engineer-In-Training.  Her responsibilities include designing precast products, project management, leading a team of nine in-house drafters, and managing the schedule and direction of the drafting department.  Rachel also has experience in estimating, and drafting which gives her a broad understanding of precast concrete, plant processes, and in field construction processes.

Rachel holds an Architectural Engineering Associate in Applied Science Degree from Southeast Technical Institute, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University.

Matt Schmitz

Matt Schmitz started as an Engineering and Quality Control Intern at Gage Brothers while studying Engineering at South Dakota State University. Upon his 2012 graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Matt joined the Engineering department full time. He assists our Engineering team with calculations and designs. Matt passed his Engineer-In-Training exam in 2013.

Nick Bierle joined Gage Brothers after completing his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University in 2013. Prior to attending Iowa State University, Nick obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University. He assists our Engineering team with calculations and designs. Nick has been an Engineer-In-Training since 2012.

As a team member at Gage Brothers for over thirty years, Del Toben is the Chief Draftsman and personally checks every project prior to production. His experience at Gage Brothers includes working as a CAD technician, Project Coordinator, and Drafting Manager.

Del holds an Architectural Design and Building Construction Associate in Applied Science Degree from Mitchell Technical Institute. He is also a long-standing board member for the Southeast Technical Institute Advisory Board for Architectural Engineering Technology.

Bryan McGeary is the Division Manager for Gage Brothers Caulking.  He is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Gage Brothers Caulking, including estimating, project management, operations, and quality control.
 
Bryan has his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management with a minor in Business from North Dakota State University.  He has over 11 years of experience in joint sealants, traffic coatings, expansion joint systems, & firestopping.  Bryan is OSHA 30 Safety Certified, Swing Stage Safety Certified, and is a member of Construction Leadership Council.
